Always reliable service

I've been using Tatum for a while now, mostly for their Multi-chain API and RPC Gateway. This last project was no different; the uptime was excellent and the responses were fast, just like my previous orders. They're consistently good, which is why I keep coming back for my blockchain development needs.

So easy to use!

Tatum is amazing! I tried out their NFT Express feature and it was so incredibly simple to integrate. Seriously, I'm blown away by how quickly I got things set up. I'm definitely going to use them again for my next project and tell all my developer friends about it!

Decent for small projects

I used Tatum's Blockchain Notifications for a small app I was building. Setup was generally smooth, and it worked as advertised. The documentation was mostly clear, though I did have to dig a bit for one specific example. Still, it delivered what I needed, which was the main thing.

Free tier was a lifesaver

As a first-time user, I was really looking for something affordable. The free developer plan for Tatum was perfect. It let me test out the Ethereum RPC without spending a dime. That really sealed the deal for me; felt like I got great value.

Comprehensive platform, few minor issues

I recently signed up for Tatum's developer plan to work on a new DApp. I primarily used their Solana RPC and the Web3 SDK. Getting started with the API key management was quite intuitive, and the documentation provided a good overview. The performance of the RPC was generally very good, with low latency. I also explored the Smart Contract Templates, which saved a fair bit of time. Delivery of service was instant, as expected for an API. My only minor quibble was that the usage analytics dashboard felt a little less granular than I'd hoped, making it slightly harder to pinpoint specific API call patterns. However, overall, the platform is robust and offers a lot of tools for serious development.

Good for building web3 stuff

I used the Unified Blockchain API for a small project last month. It was pretty straightforward to get started, honestly. Everything just worked like it should, which was a relief. Overall, a solid experience.

Just getting started with some dev work, is the free tier actually useful or is it just a tease to get you to upgrade right away?

S Shane N. 2 months ago
Nah, the free tier is legit for testing and small projects. I've built a few things on it before needing to even think about paying. Plenty of API calls to get a feel for it.

They give you a pretty generous amount of credits on the free plan. It's not a 'buy or die' situation. You can definitely get some real work done before hitting any limits, especially for learning or prototyping.

hey, trying to figure out if Tatum is worth it compared to like, Alchemy or Infura. anyone used all three and have a strong preference?

P Paula Reyes 2 months ago
I've messed around with Alchemy for a bit but moved to Tatum for a project. Tatum's multi-chain stuff is pretty sweet and saved me a lot of hassle. Definitely felt more unified.

Yeah, I think Tatum has way more chains outta the box which is a plus. Infura is solid but kinda locks you into ETH more. For general Web3 building, Tatum feels more flexible imo.
